Speculations of Kendrick Lamar Releasing some new music have finally been put to rest after he officially released his newest single “Humble”. Kendrick Lamer broke the internet after artwork that could potentially be for a new single was discovered Wednesday evening. Confirming all rumors to be true, Kendrick Lamar premiered the single produced by Mike WiLL Made-It along with an extremely dope visual sometime last night. The Compton MC and producer Dave Meyers use some intense imagery to depict society, religion, modesty and self love. Using grungy scenes from the streets of Compton to biblical scenes from the bible Kendrick sends a message of humility while being far from humble.
Many are saying shots have been fired at Big Sean in this track, especially in the specific line“”If I kill a nigga, it wont be the Alcohol, I’m the realest nigga after all.” This may be a response to “Twenty 88” a collaboration with Jhene Aiko where Big Sean said “Blame it on the alcohol or blame it on sativa”. To makes things even more interesting the president of Kendrick’s record label tweeted “No Interviews” shortly after the release. Is he insinuating he has no plans to elaborate to the press on the new single or album from Kendrick? On a brighter note many fans admire Kendrick’s reference to stretch marks and his embrace of natural beauty and black woman.
